Since the update of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations in 2015, our role as Principal Contractor has evolved. Our clients appoint us to oversee, manage and control the construction of their development, and we have a duty to manage the health and safety risks for both our own team, and the other teams on site throughout the whole construction phase. We have worked hard to ensure that our skills, knowledge, experience, and administrative processes are robust enough to meet these increased demands.
As well as the day-to-day duties of a principal contractor, under the CDM regulations, our duties must include:
