ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TESTING & LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

EICRs

Previously known as a Periodic Inspection Report (PIR), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) are electrical surveys aimed at finding potential electrical hazards, for instance it will check if electrical circuits are overloaded; highlight any lack of earthing or bonding; and carry out tests on the fixed wiring of the installation. It will detail any electrical code repair work that might need to be done to bring the property up to British Standard BS 7671.

EPCs

We can survey and produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for your property. This provides information on a property’s energy efficiency and environmental impact, along with recommendations for upgrades which will help improve the building’s energy performance rating.

Asbestos management

Asbestos may be situated in the fabric of a building and is a very real Health and Safety Risk. Our entire workforce is continually trained in Asbestos awareness and AC Gold Asbestos procedures.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Service

We provide managed and unscheduled Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing) services for a range of customers from large commercial offices, through to housing associations, letting agents and private landlords who want to make sure their rental housing stock is compliant with electrical regulations.
